The Seattle Cyclocross Series is sanctioned by USA Cycling and you will need a USAC license to race.
Cat 1/2/3 (juniors/seniors/masters) will need an annual license. The easiest way to obtain or renew on is online, HERE.
They will also be available for purchase on race day (but online is the best option). Cat 4 racers (all ages) single-speed racers, and junior-event racers have the option to purchase a one-day license in person on race day for $10.
You will be able to purchase a license when you register online.

USA Cycling License Upgrades

Ifyou need to upgrade the most efficient way is to submit your upgrade request through the USA Cycling website. Click on the “My USA Cycling” button on the upper left hand and go from there. When making the request, if possible, please submit detailed race results supporting your request. This makes the process quicker. Before requesting an upgrade, please review the cyclocross upgrade rules, which can be found here. Look for rules 1D4 and 1D5.

In particular, please note:
Per USA Cycling rules, only USA Cycling sanctioned races will count toward upgrades. Two wins is an automatic upgrade from 3 to 2, and 2 to 1, if applicable field size rules are met. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to email David James at djames98117 (at) yahoo dot com.
